I hope 2012 is a good one for all of you, and that it’s a successful year for all.

So many people are happy to see the back of 2011, and yes it was a tough one for many people, with sadness, tragedy and of course ‘austerity’. (A word I never heard until 2011!)

2011 was a challenging year for our family, but it was also one of the happiest we’d had for a few years. Our lovely son Fionn joined us in January of 2011, and brought so much joy to our lives. His older brothers and sister also brought much joy and happiness, and as they grow older I am blessed that they all have their health, and are really great kids, if I do say so myself.

Crafting took a back seat for a while in 2011, save a few little projects here and there. I did learn to knit though, and I got a lot of pleasure from making some baby clothes and possibly the highlight of 2011 (craftwise) was knitting Fionn’s Christening gown and making his christening candle. Of course I did meet Tim Holtz in February, and that was truly a wish come true!!

So here’s 2012 and I have a LOT of projects and goals for this year. It’s going to be a busy one.

I’ll be starting monthly scrapbook workshops in February.
I’m going to learn to SEW. (I stumbled across this blog which I’ll be watching carefully – LOVE IT!)
I’m going to learn to Crochet.
I’m going to learn to use my camera properly – hopefully take a class.
I’m going to Dream……..it’s my word for 2012. Dream big.

What are your plans for 2012?
