Hearts & Flowers; but not Valentines

Hello there, I know it's been a long time but life has been very busy here since the arrival four weeks ago of baby Fionn.
Oh we are smitten here, the little bundle of cuteness has made such a change in our lives, and already we can't imagine not having him around.

He finally made his appearance a few days late on January 13th. I had hoped he would be delivered naturally but it wasn't to be - section was the only way he was coming out! He weighed 9lbs 11ozs, so maybe that section was all for the best in the end!

He's so cute, and so cuddly and we are enjoying every minute we spend with him. He's also a very relaxed and calm baby - good feeder and good sleeper (*thank you Lord*) so life is pretty good here right now!

Anyway, moving on - todays challenge on Paperplay challenges is Hearts & Flowers but with a twist - it cannot be a Valentines card!

I was late uploading this to the challenge blog, the little man just did not want me spending time away from him yesterday!

Yesterday happened to be our wedding anniversary so I made this card for my husband!
The papers are from Tim Holtz, the stamp is from a very old set of See-D's - remember they were the first stamps that used the acrylic block! Theres some grungeboard elements and of course the flowers!

Thanks for visiting. I hope to start keeping this blog updated from now on so do pop back again soon xx
