Anyway, as normality resumes (for a while at least*) I was able to get some crafting done!
I was delighted to be asked to be a guest designer for July on Stampin for the Weekend. Their theme was Christmas in July and this was my contribution.

This week on Crafty Angels the challenge was to use Red and Black so here is my contribution for that.
The flower was handmade from some circles of CS which I distressed and stickled! The sentiment is from Hero Arts. I got a fabulous set of these stamps the last time I was in Siopa Bui and I just love them, they have the perfect sentiment for every occasion.
Quixotic Challenges are looking for Pearls. I've only used one!!!
PaperSundaes want lots of layers - I think my flower should qualify for that :)
* I have a little announcement to make also. (It's the main reason I've been MIA for so long) We are expecting a little arrival in the New Year. I am now 16 weeks pregnant and despite the fact that I've never been so sick in my whole life, I am really excited about this! It will be a huge change in our family, but a very welcome one also. This pregnancy is proving very difficult at the moment, and I really would appreciate all your prayers and good vibes please.
Needless to say we are all very excited about what the New Year holds in store for us. Oh, and if I do have to go missing again, you'll know why ;)
