This week on Scrap the Art we have another print to inspire you.

'Hand with reflecting sphere' by M.C.Esher ca. 1935
There are just so many possibilities with this, and I really enjoyed working on this challenge. I went out of my comfort zone on this and wasn't sure how I was going to pull it all together. My inspiration came firstly from the hand, and also the reflection, then the sphere, and finally the colours. I think I've managed to incorporate all into my layout.
My sons handprint is one of the stamped elements. In his sunglasses (it's not very easy to see!) you can just make out the reflection of everyone that is sitting around the table. I used my nesties to cut the circle shape, and finally I followed the colour scheme in the print also.
Special thanks have to go to Eyjafjallajokull for easing off long enough to allow my Tim Holtz dies to arrive! Wooo hooo! They are here now Eyja - erupt again all you like!!!!
I'm also going to enter this layout into the following challenges:
Something completly different - H (hand)
Pennys Challenge - Anything goes
Crafty Creations Challenge - Distressing
